"El Dia de los Niños"

Costa Rica has a holiday called "Dia de los niños" to celebrate the children. Happy Children's Day! Let's appreciate the spirit of the child and what they contribute to the world!

    Kids deserve a day to be honored and appreciated too. What a novel concept.
    That is the opposite of the concept that sometimes occurs in this culture; children are to be seen and not heard.
